About

Thomas Brown is a violist, violinist, and educator based out of NYC. Holding degrees from NYU Steinhardt and Mannes School of Music, Thomas freelances around the city playing in orchestra and opera productions, as well as recording strings for singer/songwriters. He also provides private, personalized music lessons to students of all levels and ages.

Thomas' favorite setting is performing with chamber groups; collaborating in small groups of musicians is a fulfilling experience and the best way to convey the ideas of every musician while still creating a rich, full sound.

Music

I love performing music of all different genres, from Bach to Taylor Swift and everything in between! My favorite ensemble to perform with is Viola and Piano.
