About

Oliver Moore (b. 2001) is currently a postgraduate student under the tutelage of pianist Garrick Ohlsson at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music as a recipient of the B. Gardner Wilcox Piano Scholarship. Oliver completed his undergraduate and graduate studies under Mr. Ohlsson at SFCM. In September 2026, he will join the New Word Symphony in Miami, FL as one of the orchestra’s two piano fellows for the 2026-2027 season.

Oliver has been featured as soloist with orchestras including the Bear Valley Festival Orchestra, North State Symphony, Hollywood Chamber Orchestra, and the SFCM Orchestra as winner of the Conservatory’s Piano Concerto Competition. Oliver has performed at venues such as the U.S.-Polish Embassy in Washington D.C., the Lied Center of Kansas, the San Francisco War Memorial Performing Arts Center, 405 Shrader Concert Series, and the Redlands Bowl where he was winner of the Redlands Bowl Concerto Competition.

Music

Oliver’s repertoire spans from Bach, Scarlatti, Mozart, and Beethoven to the Romantic repertoire. He was a semifinalist in the U.S. National and Kosciuszko Foundation Chopin Competitions. Also passionate about new music, Oliver has performed works by composers such as Thomas Adès, Meredith Monk, and Morton Feldman.
