Brad Rau
Classical Guitar
About
Brad Rau's technically wizardry, emotional control, and unique learning methods makes him one of the most cutting edge classical guitarist of the 21 century . As an author, performer, teacher, and current student of Eliot Fisk, Rau is always pushing the boundaries of possibility. Performing music for over 20 years all over Boston, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware his 8 hours of memorized repertoire is growing every minute. Though his specialty is Bach, his repertoire also includes many pieces from the Classical Romantic and Modern period. When he isn't working on music Rau is hiking, skateboard, or at the library. Rau is currently pursuing his masters degree in guitar performance with a scholarship to New England Conservatory.
