Welcome to our very first Groupmuse event! I've attended a few and was so impressed with the musicianship and sincere community at each gathering, I decided to start hosting myself. More, please!
Nahuel Bronzini performed at the first groupmuse I attended. I was transfixed by his passionate renditions of classical and folkloric music from Latin America.
Tentative program for this performance, including collaborations with Mezzo-Soprano vocalist Carrie Zhang:
John Dowland - Elizabethan songs (selections)
Manuel de Falla - Siete Canciones Populares (Spanish songs, selections)
Benjamin Britten - Songs from the Chinese (selections)
Solo guitar music - Latin American works by Lauro, Sinesi, etc...
Bonus - Pop contemporary sings as encores.

Our home is a lovingly restored Queen Anne Victorian in NOPA. We think the double parlor will be a lovely, intimate setting for this musical performance. Ages 16+ welcome.
We will have light snacks; BYOB...
We're excited to have you join us!
