Get ready to experience Get Out in a whole new way. Jordan Peele's groundbreaking psychological horror film comes to David Geffen Hall, with the New York Philharmonic performing the music live as the film plays on screen with subtitles. It’s a chance to feel every unsettling turn, ominous cue, and moment of suspense with the added intensity of a live orchestral performance.
Blending razor-sharp social commentary with masterful psychological suspense, Get Out redefined modern horror—and hearing its music performed live brings a fresh dimension to its chilling atmosphere. Through Groupmuse Nights Out, you can catch this special cinematic event for just $30, compared with regular ticket prices ranging from $73 to over $100. 🎬
What's the music?
Michael Abels' original score -- which was immediately recognized as a masterpiece of modern film music -- will be performed in its entirety alongside the film.
Anthony Parnther will be conducting and the Phil will be joined by the DC6 Singers Collective.
