An intimate evening of piano trio music in the West Village.
-
Join violinist Victoria Pan, cellist Weiting Sun, and pianist Yixuan Han for a program that moves from Rachmaninoff’s sweeping romanticism to Ravel’s luminous colors and Shostakovich’s intensity and wit.
The musicians have performed at venues and festivals including Carnegie Hall, Jordan Hall, Banff, Kneisel Hall, and the Taos School of Music, bringing a powerful combination of virtuosity, sensitivity, and ensemble playing to this intimate setting.
We'll begin with a short pre-concert talk introducing the music, followed by the performance and a post-concert reception with drinks, where you can meet the musicians and continue the conversation.
Come for the music, stay for the atmosphere — an intimate West Village evening of beautiful, dramatic, and deeply expressive chamber music.
