About the Artists

Latin GRAMMY Award-winning bassist and composer Pedro Giraudo is one of today's leading voices in contemporary tango. Originally from Argentina and now based in New York, Giraudo has spent decades performing with the world's foremost tango artists and has appeared at prestigious venues including Lincoln Center. His acclaimed album Vigor Tanguero received the Latin GRAMMY Award for Best Tango Album, and his collaborations span artists including Pablo Ziegler, Paquito D'Rivera, Branford Marsalis, Miguel Zenón, Regina Carter, and many more.
