Please join us for some mid-winter solo violin music! We are excited to have a young musician, Ayaan Ahmad, share some of his favorites with us. Ayaan is a student in the joint degree program of Harvard and the New England Conservatory.

What's the music?

Ayaan Ahmad
  1. Johann Sebastian Bach: Sonata No. 3 in C major for Solo Violin, BWV 1005
  2. Fritz Kreisler: Recitativo and Scherzo-Caprice, Op. 6
  3. Reena Esmail: "Darshan" for Solo Violin
  4. Niccolò Paganini: Caprice No. 24 in A minor for Solo Violin, Op. 1

Where does this music come from?

I will explain this more during the concert!
