The careers of musicians Sixto Franco (viola) and Juan Horie (cello) have taken them around the globe searching for new and exciting music. They return to Groupmuse Chicago with a program embodying their programming ethos of "crisol," Spanish for "melting pot."

Quijote Duo's repertoire ranges from early music to brand-new works freshly written for them. Champions of new creations, Juan and Sixto have collaborated with myriad composers, dancers, poets, and singers, as well as other improvisers.
