What's the music?
This program features 14 pieces created by a unique guitarist-composer. Each piece has its own title and story, offering the audience a colorful and engaging journey. The warm blend of cello and guitar creates a refined, intimate atmosphere — light, lyrical, and filled with subtle jazz elements. Together, the music unfolds like a series of short stories, each revealing a new mood and character.
Where does this music come from?
This program continues the long tradition of chamber music where every piece carries a distinct title and atmosphere. The guitar and cello duo, rooted in centuries of European chamber traditions, found new expression in the 20th century, blending classical refinement with hints of jazz and improvisation. Rarely performed today, this program brings back the charm of intimate musical storytelling in a fresh and unique way.
