    Please join us for an evening of original guitar compositions with loop/ special effects. Brooklyn's own Michael Hewett will share his many decades of musical experience inspired by his travels "through the hidden worlds revealed through deep meditation, ceremonial work and plant medicine."

    Performing fluidly on steel string acoustic, Spanish classical and electric guitars, Michael weaves original compositions with classical/baroque/romantic period pieces using live mixed effects and live looping. In his own words,

    "I strive to serve the song. Elevating my technique to the place where (nearly) anything is possible to express while at the same time keeping it on a short leash. I lead with emotion and the intention of creating a synesthetic experience within myself and the audience.”

    Where does this music come from?
