Hi there! I'm excited to welcome California-based pianist Giovanni Azzellino who is making a special trip for his NYC Groupmuse debut! Giovanni will perform one set of Schubert impromptus and the last piano sonata Beethoven wrote, opus 111. Giovanni happens to have a PhD in electrical engineering but also a degree in piano performance from a conservatory in Italy. Please join me for what will be my penultimate hosted Groupmuse in NYC.
Guest arrival begins at 7:30pm with music to begin around 8pm. I'll provide light snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and some wine; feel free to BYOB. Please note I'd like us to take off our shoes upon entering the apartment.
What's the music?
F. Schubert - 4 Impromptus D899 (op. 90)
L. van Beethoven - Sonata op. 111
