Bluvenduo is a musical collaboration between guitarists Zhanxiang (Joshua) Shi and Sebastian Robles who currently study at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
The duo will be playing a collection of new, old, and newly transcribed music, including one of Sebastian’s own compositions as well as the duo’s original arrangements of three Rachmaninoff piano preludes. They will also perform a transcription of Bach’s “Capriccio on the Departure of a Beloved Brother” - his only piece of programmatic music, and Dusan Bogdanovic’ Sonata-Fantasia.
