 f you've never heard Quartet Aido before -- let me tell you -- you're in f
 or a major treat! They are amazing musicians definitely headed for the big
  time! \n\nProgram \nGrażyna Bacewicz (1909-1969) String Quartet No. 4  (
 1951)\nGrażyna Bacewicz was born into a musical family in Poland.  Bacewi
 cz became an extraordinary professional violinist and prolific award-winni
 ng composer. Following the German occupation in WWII\, Bacewicz was part o
 f the Underground Union of Musicians. Commissioned by the Underground Unio
 n\, Bacewicz’s Fourth Quartet was an immediate success. It won first pri
 ze at the International Composers’ Competition in Liège and the Polish 
 National Prize in 1952. \n\nClaude Debussy (1862 – 1918) String Quartet 
 in G minor\, Op.10 (1893)\nClaude Debussy was a French composer and is see
 n as the first Impressionist composer\, although he vigorously rejected th
 e term. He was among the most influential composers of his time. Debussy s
 howed enough musical talent to be admitted at age ten to France's leading 
 music college\, the Conservatoire de Paris. He found his vocation in innov
 ative composition\, despite the disapproval of his conservative professors
 . He completed his String Quartet in G minor in 1893 when he was 31. It is
